I usually never get a player that short at PF, but the guy was very fast for a PF, 80+ rebounding, and 85+ on vertical and dunks. ' o Personal example: 3-star 6'6" PF that was Mr. ' o They tend to always be freakishly good at something even if they are a 3-star recruit. ' o These are the recruits with a basketball icon in their profile The only downside is not being able to sort by position ratingsĦ. O This almost always proves to be accurate. O This will give you an idea of how good the player is beyond the star rating. O Example: The #10 point guard in a class is almost always considerably better than the #30 point guard. Prioritize recruits by player position ratings 6'8" centers tend to have similar stats to 7'1" centers when simulated, but the taller players are better at getting rebounds and shooting in traffic when you play the game or play the game without selecting a team. O Height is less of a factor when simulating games. O Height doesn't seem to be factored into the recruit/player's rating, so a 7'1" 3-star center will most likely perform better than a 6'8" 3-star center. The recruit might end up having lower attributes than expected once on your roster, but they won't get shorter, so you can't go wrong with a 7-footer even with a 65 rating (early in Legacy at least). Players with interest from multiple big schools tend to be good 3-stars. Players with little interest from schools tend to be closer to 2-star players. These will go away once the other teams have no scholarships left (so again, take notes). O Take notes of what other teams are recruiting the players throughout the year. O Some 3-star World recruits tend to be more like 2-star National players O You will only get one chance to scout so you will likely be basing the quality of the player on a few stats This can move up recruit % as much as 15-20% instantly.Įarly in the Legacy mode, recruiting 3-star World recruits is a great way to get decent players My current team now as 9 SFs and the in-game rotation never changed). This should not affect rotations much since auto substitution tends to put the best rated players into the game regardless of position (Edit: Changing the players positions does NOT affect in-game auto substitutions. O Example: When recruiting a center, move all centers on team to power forward by editing the player in your roster. ` "Playing at a big/small school" player preference - self explanatoryĬhanging current player positions will instantly improve recruit % when the recruit has "playing time" as a priority.
` "Staying close to home" (and the opposite) player preference - self explanatory Not sure if player ratings are factored in, so bad players on roster could keep you from getting a good recruit.

` o "Getting playing time" player preference - will look at non-senior players on current roster at the recruits positions (more info below on how to exploit). ' o Coach recruiting preferences (see below) ' o "Getting good coaching" player preference - Probably related to coach Teaching rating ' o "Feeling liked" player preference - Probably related to coach Charisma rating? O From what I can tell there are a few factors. Why can't I get this recruit? OR how the heck did I get that recruit?
